Huisdieren
A mixed-breed dog results from breeding between two or more different breeds. This can happen naturally or through intentional human breeding.
Unplanned breeding occurs when dogs of different breeds roam freely and mate, or when a female in heat attracts males from the area.
Many mixed-breed dogs are found in shelters and rescues as strays or surrendered pets. Adopting one gives a unique animal a loving home.
The term "mutt" was once derogatory but is now often used affectionately. Mixed-breed dogs are valued for their diversity and often excellent health.
